Kansas City International Airport

Kansas City International Airport (MCI) provides air service to Western Missouri, Eastern Kansas and some parts of Iowa and Nebraska.  All the major US carriers serve MCI, though none with jets larger than a Boeing 757.  Today, only Midwest Airlines uses MCI as a hub, but the largest carrier by far at MCI is Southwest Airlines.  American also operates a maintenance facility, which it inherited when it purchased the now defunct TWA, at the airport.
