The Grand Canyon

    I lived in Arizona for five years before I finally got to the Grand Canyon National Park.  Even then, it was only three weeks before I would leave Arizona for good in 2002.  After seeing it, I wondered why I had waited so long.  It really is much more than just a big ditch.  Eric, Robert and I stayed on the Southern Rim and looked out across the canyon and couldn't believe the wonder we were seeing.  If you ever get the chance to go, you should and take in splendor yourself. I would recommend doing more than just flying over it, sure you get a good overall view, but up close and personal really causes the site to impress you.  I know that if I get another chance to go, I will and this time I will actually go down into the canyon.
